H4H Receives Game Changing Donation
In early 2021, Hedge for Humanity received a charitable endowment of $175,065.67. Since then, the H4H board has been strategizing how best to allocate and utilize these funds. Overall, the endowment provides a considerable runway for general overhead expenses and empowers H4H to focus more substantially on its projects and missions.
The general objective of H4H is to provide sustainable means of global value transfer and basic income. In the coming months, we will be focusing on funding efforts and growth for Manna and the H4H fund, two projects that both help fulfill that mission.
In order to encourage transparency and set the groundwork for a more decentralized framework, H4H has created two multi-signature Gnosis safes to be used for the H4H fund and the Manna Development Fund. Below we will provide a little more depth on these projects and our fundraising efforts for them.
It is important to mention that BrightID, another project supported by H4H, has been successful thus far proving its business model and achieving the necessary funding to keep up with growth.
H4H Fund
The H4H fund is a global wealth fund awarding one-year-long, $100/month basic incomes to random participants from around the world. It is inspired by sovereign wealth funds such as those of Norway and Brunei. The H4H fund assets are held in a multi-signature Gnosis safe and earn interest using a variety of yield generating assets. The objective is to retain principle and use the interest generated to fund the basic income giveaways.
Current Fund Value: ~$16,400
H4H is excited to announce it will be matching up to $25,000 for donations made into the fund by the end of July.

H4H & Manna Dev Fund
Manna’s goal is to provide general accessibility into the digital asset world and the web 3 ecosystem using the principles of basic income and the universality of time. Manna will be regularly distributed to all verified unique users through BrightID and built on the IDChain blockchain.
This pool of resources will be what funds Manna development moving forward. It has been initially endowed by H4H with 3,900 DAI (~$3,900) and will be guided by the community for what use cases should be developed and how the resources should be allocated.
