How to Claim Manna 2.0 from Manna 1.0
Manna 2.0 is finally here! You can now claim your Manna 2.0 based on your Manna 1.0 holdings held on Mannabase.com, an exchange, a desktop wallet, or a paper wallet. This article will provide detailed instructions on how to connect to the new Mannabase.com and claim your Manna based on your original Manna holdings.
Create Manna 2.0 Account & Wallet
First, you will need to create a Manna 2.0 account and wallet. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Get a Verified BrightID
- Go to https://www.brightid.org/
- Download the App on your phone.
- Join a connection party to get Verified.
2. Get a Metamask & Connect Wallet
- Go to https://metamask.io/
- Download the app on your desktop or phone.
- Click the “Connect Wallet” button on Mannabase.com
3. Connect to Mannabase & IDChain
- Scan the QR code that will appear on the homepage with your BrightID app.
Claim From Your Manna 1.0
Now that you have a working Manna 2.0 wallet, you can go through the claim process for your Manna 1.0. Please keep in mind the total Manna 2.0 will not be equal to your Manna 1.0 holdings. It will be based on a root reduction as described in this previous post. For users with Manna 1.0 balances in multiple locations please follow the steps for each and the Manna 2.0 balance will be reflected accordingly.
1.) Mannabase.com
- First, click the “Claim Manna 1.0” button at the bottom of the page.
- Enter the email associated with your Mannabase.com account.
- You will receive a six-digit code in your email. Enter that code to confirm your email.
- Your Manna 2.0 balance will now appear.
2.) An Exchange
- Send your Manna 1.0 held in an exchange to the Wallet Address listed on the Claim page.
- Your Manna 2.0 balance will now appear.
3.) Q.T. / Paper Wallet
- Send your Manna 1.0 held in an exchange to the Wallet Address listed on the Claim page.
- If you have a paper wallet, upload it to a desktop wallet and follow the above step. If needed, you can get a Manna 1.0 Q.T. wallet here.
- Your Manna 2.0 balance will now appear.
